FIT FAMILY 5 MILE
Join us for our 1st annual “Fit
Family 5 Mile” run on May 31, 2008! Our event is unique - not
only does it offer a scenic, high-altitude race for the
competitive runner, but also fun for the entire family! A
variety of children’s activities will be available throughout
the morning. Proceeds from the event will benefit
Families For Estes and Lifelong Learning of Estes Valley.

About the
Beneficiaries:
Families for Estes (FFE): FFE is a nonprofit organization and
information sharing cooperative in Estes Park. They are
committed to making Estes Park a more family-friendly town by
fundraising for town improvements and networking with the
leadership and business owners of Estes Park. FFE has currently
been working closely with the Parks and Recreation District to
make improvements to Stanley Park and the Lake Estes Marina. For

Lifelong Learning of Estes Valley (LLEV):
Since 2001, LLEV has been operating a non-denominational
Christian-based educational program for pre-school and primary
school. LLEV, a non-profit, provides scholarships and tuition
assistance programs to enable families of all income levels,
ethnicities and backgrounds to participate. They provide
children with opportunities for interaction with children of
similar and different cultural and social lifestyles. LLEV
creates a well-planned environment that promotes success and
develops a positive self-concept and love of learning.
